This 'Cow Wall Decor - Australian Cow Crossing Canvas Print' is a bit of fun.

I saw this sign and absolutely couldn't resist taking a picture and turning it into something!

Who knew that there was such a thing as a Cow Crossing!?

(Just think of the possibilities... Beaver crossings, goat crossings, donkey crossings. The possibilities are endless. My guess is that there probably ARE sheep crossings? I don't reckon I'll be able to sleep at night until I come across one of those as well!)

Also, note the boomerang above the sign (at least that is what I am taking it too mean!) So I naturally think it must be an exclusively Australian Cow Crossing (though how that is being policed among the cows I am honestly not sure?)

I think I must have been very lucky for an Australian Cow to also be passing at just that precise moment (wearing an Australian flag, which was also convenient).

Art hath no giver like real life!

The words on the canvas (on the cow actually - nice) are:

AUSTRALIAN

COW CROSSING

(Just in case the Aussie flag and the boomerang didn't give it away)

Did you know that Australia has 28 million cattle, which is a lot of cows.

So perhaps they need crossings?

If I was a cow, then I would definitely wait at the side of the road UNLESS there was a cow crossing (though, how rare must an Australian Cow Crossing be do you suppose? Don't run into one of them everyday.)

My question is... If you were an American or British cow and you came across this, how annoyed would you be that it was just for Australian Cows?!

What is that all about?

Or, you are a heifer, dreaming of becoming a 'real' cow. You see this sign. Now, you are an Australian Heifer (clearly on holiday as NO, in answer to your question, it wasn't taken in Oz.). Are you allowed to cross or not?

Cow politics!

Vive la Revolution!

Or not. This is a cow picture after all.

By the way... the heifer thing is in reference to Britannica who define a heifer as,

"heifer is a female that has not had any offspring. The term usually refers to immature females; after giving birth to her first calf, however, a heifer becomes a cow."

So, it seems like there is this 'weird' limbo, where they are sort of a cow. But not really.

Confusing.

Anyways, back to the cow art...

This piece of cow wall art should be a natural for any proud Australian to have hanging on their wall.

(You don't even have to have a pet bovine knocking around the garden).

The combination of a cow crossing the road and the Australian connection clearly makes it a must-have item.

How many other artistic works picturing Australian Cow Crossings have you seen after all?
